Who needs an alarm clock?

W doesn't know how to sleep in - he has always woken up between 4:30 and 5:30 AM.  And, after 21 months of not sleeping in I'm exhausted.  I've been trying to embrace it and run like I used too but I'm still tired.  I'm so tired I can't even write!

Yesterday, I even broke down and called W's doctor to see if there was anything I could do.  She was very supportive, but essentially told me I was stuck with a baby lark.  All I have to say is I'm going to be vacuuming a lot at 6AM when W is 13 and sleeping in.

More running to come - sleepless running that is.

Hi Nicole,

Long time since I've been around - like you, I haven't been running for the past 3-4 years after suffering from an injury. Your name is still on my "Blogs I like to read" so here I am - back on the blogosphere, trying to get back into running too!

And by the way, my kids were also very early risers, usually between 5.30-6.00 am. Luckily though, they also went to bed early too, around 6 pm, and slept through the night so it wasn't all bad.

Take care,

Suer
