Hello, blogworld! I haven't run in six weeks. I have a had a major case of the blahs. Maybe it has been all the rain we are having or the stress of the new house and trying to get projects done. The good news is that for the last two days I finally feel like running again. So, I hope to get some new running shoes and hit the pavement again. Right now it is raining but they I'll be off. I can't wait! I also look forward to catching up with everyone's blogs!

Welcome back. Sometimes you just need a break from running to take care of everything else life throws at you.
Hey, I can so relate...It's been 5 weeks or so since Boston and I had my biggest mileage week of 28 now...and longest runs I've gotten in are no more than 7 miles...I so need to get double digits but keep finding other things to do. It all comes back at some point though.
After not running for six weeks don't even try and run the same distance and speed as you did before, return slowly with much shorter mileage. Hang tough!

no worries - I have been there...and sometimes a break is just what is needed. Good luck getting back out there with your first run!
